She could have stayed put neatly in one of the stereotypical lives being set for women, but she answered the call and broke free. Hopefully she will inspire other women to believe that they are more than one thing- not merely pretty objects to be paraded and gawked upon, not merely housewives to wash socks and clean bathrooms and cook meals, not merely baby-making machines or playthings in bed, not merely trophies for men who want to show off their success. We can be all that and so much more; we can choose what our lives will become. Yun lang po.
